PHYGITAL AEGINA WORLD's FIRST PHYGITAL CITY-STATE-SOIL How did we succeed to buy the pistachio/burger/food/room that you ate/rent and the coffee you drank? How do we transform consumed goods & services into economic worth greater than the new ones? PHYGITAL AEGINA is a technological singularity of unique dimensions. Its modern story began in 2012, just above the site of Greece’s first modern mint, where an interdisciplinary team of artists combined their achievements with an Aegina pistachio tree. Each of their works adopted a pistachio nut, aiming to apply the Pythagorean theorem, while the team and the tree simultaneously embodied the Euclidean definition of a point and the principles of refraction.
